Application Process

The application process for Government Girls College, Mandsaur is as follows:

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.A.- The college has 550 seats for the Bachelor of Arts course. Admission is based on the marks of 10+2. Students can choose many subjects offered by the college.

B.Com- In the Bachelor of Commerce course, there are 300 seats. Admission is on the merit list based on the marks of 10+2, paying priority to commerce students.

B.Sc.: The college conducts B.Sc. programs in the following combinations:

• B.Sc. Botany, Chemistry, Zoology (190 seats)
• B.Sc. Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics (100 seats)
• B.Sc. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics (60 seats)

Admission to these programs is worked out on the basis of the marks scored in the relevant science subjects in 10+2.

B.Com. Computer Applications: This is a specialized program available only for 100 seats. Admission is based on the merit list prepared in consideration of the 12th grade marks, mostly favoring students coming from commerce and computer application background.

M.Com.-  The college offers 60 seats in the Master of Commerce program, where admission is based on the marks obtained in B.Com. or equivalent degree.

M.A.- The postgraduate programs are offered in English, History, and Sociology with 60 seats each. Admission is based on marks obtained in the respective undergraduate degree.
