Government J. Yaganandam Chhattisgarh College, Raipur, presents itself as one of the premier institutions that offer a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college receives admissions for a number of courses in a systematic manner where the most competent candidates are granted admission. Around June-end is normally the time to start the admission process after the declaration of 12th-standard results. The college facilitates admissions to courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, and Management. ADMISSION PROCESS DEGREE WISE
BA: Counselling for admission into the Bachelor of Arts program (355 intake approved) is done on the basis of marks secured in the 12th standard examination.
B.Sc. Biology Group: The approved intake for this program is that of 265 students. Candidates who have studied Biology in their 12th standard are eligible to apply.
B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce program has an approved intake of 235 students. Admission will be based on the marks obtained in the 12th standard, preferably with Commerce subjects.
B.Sc. Mathematics Group: Suitable for candidates who have studied Mathematics at their 12th standard with an approved intake of 163 students.
LLM: This Master of Laws program has an approved intake of 90 students. Candidates must have done their LLB from a recognized university to be eligible.
MA: The college offers various MA programs including Public Administration, English, Political Science, Ancient Indian History, Philosophy, Hindi, Sociology, Economics, and Geography. The approved intake varies from 25 to 50 students depending on the specialization.
M.Sc: Various M.Sc programs available are Mathematics, Chemistry, Zoology, Physics, and Anthropology; approved intake varies between 20-30 students.
Ph.D.: The college has offerings in the doctoral programs in Mathematics and English with an approved intake of 24 and 20 students, respectively.

First you need to fulfill these requirement to take admission in LLB-
1- You need atleast 45% in 12th to take admission in UG course.
2- You need to score atleast 45% in your graduation degree.
3- There is no age limit to take admission in this course.
After completing the above steps you need to either give entrance exam or you can take direct admission in any University. There is some national level exam you can give like CLAT and LSAT or you can give University level exams of DU, BHU, ALU, JNU, AU.

Eligibility Criteria for the three year LLB program is candidate needs to passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a reognized university with 45% marks and in case reserved category it's 40%. Universities like DU and BHU require minimum 50% marks while universities like Kurukshetra, Rohtak, Meerut require only 45% marks in graduation.

BA LLB -
Full Form (Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Legislative Law) is an integrated law ) degree that aspirants can pursue right after their Class 12. The duration of BA LLB course is five years. As part of the BA LLB course, aspirants are first taught Arts subjects such as Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology etc. Thereafter, aspirants are taught about law specialisations like Civil Law, Criminal Law, Labour Law, Tax Law, Administrative Law, Corporate Law, Patent Law and the likes.
As part of the five-years integrated BA LLB course, candidates are offered education not only through classroom teaching methods but also by means of case studies and moot courts.
ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates seeking admission to BA LLB course need to meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned by the law schools and universities in India including, academic qualification, minimum qualifying marks and age limit. if they have completed their 10+2 from a recognised board. Apart from this, most popular law colleges also fix a minimum marks requirement in order to be eligible to apply for the BA LLB course offered by them. By means of this criteria, candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ Specially abled person categories need to secure at least 45% marks at their 10+2 level in order to pursue a BA LLB course and the percentage fixed for SC/ ST category is 40%.
