our college has all the necessary infrastructure including laboratories, d hall ,classrooms with ac, patient inflow ,clinical exposure , sports and hostels with clean mess all of the given facilities are well maintained and clean.
its very well known that gmc patiala is the best medical college of patiala in gmc and has the best teaching qualities all of the staff are very sincere and knowledgeable its upto the recent nmc guidelines since we have regular clinical exposure it prepares us for when we handle the patients ourselves
there is a compulsory 1 year internship with good stipend there are very good opportunities for the mbbs students passing from gmc patiala and the college faculty is very supportive in helping with any issues
Nice… new lts with full air conditioned Practical labs are ok ok And moreover they have every possible equipment ohe should have i highly recommend this college this is far better than many other colleges
Good teaching Teachers do keep every child equal.. They don’t do partiality with anyone they are very nice to us i am in mbbs Our curriculum is updated and well maintained by our respective teachers
Better Quality of placement is good Usually our superseniors have get nice stipend but it should be increased ig … and moreover internship is hectic as hell but eventually it will make us a better doctor in future only
Our college assures all the facilities for the students. College library has air-conditioned reading rooms. Laboratories are well equipped with all the scientific instruments. Wi-Fi is also available with good network connectivity.
The teachers are helpful and well experienced. They take their lectures daily without any holiday. The unique teaching style of teachers helps the students to learn the things practically rather than theoretically.
All students get an internship in their own campus. Eligible students qualify the test for post graduation and get their dream job. College authorities are very supportive. They do their best to make students ready for qualifying Higher competitive exam.
My course fees is 1,50,000 per year and is quite worth it.
Campus life is amazing. Location is fully safe and hygienic.
Great experience
The college area has all the necessary requirements, although it gets really hot during summers. The apparatus for practicals aren't that suffice for a batch of 225 students. Hostels are good in infrastructure, but the washrooms are not hygienic enough and aren't regularly cleaned. Also, there are very very long power cuts and you aren't allowed to keep inverters :(. Hostel doesn't even have generators.
I am currently an first year mbbs student and the teachers I've witnessed in the first prof are really hardworking and helpful. The SR's and JR's are always there to take your doubts. The curriculum is updated and there's a good clinical exposure, the only lacking factor is the availability of research opportunities.
Many students have scored a good rank in PG entrance exams and have cracked USMLE (both stages). We have University toppers from our college every year ! You get a really good clinical exposure during your duties and also build a great experience.
Our first year costs us 150000 for tuition fee only, separate charges for hostel, addition of AC in rooms, examination charges etc. There's a 10% increment in the tuition fee every year. The fee is way too much as compared to the facilities provided, even the stipend during internship is a minimal wage. So the money/ fee is definitely not worth the qualities in the college. This is true for any government Medical College of Punjab though.
Our college campus is amazing, you get a pool, a cafeteria, gym and other sports related courts. You can always polish your skills. The annual fest AURA, and the annual akhand path are one of the best events. The only worst part is that you get huge puddles of water everywhere during rainy season. The teachers, staff and the Students are really supportive and you don't face ragging issues. The college is at a really safe location and we'll equipped to handle emergencies.
Our college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, libraries, good labs and dissection halls for medical students. The infrastructure of our college is good. Quality of hostels is not as good as it should be because at night dogs throw the dustbin. There is a mess in the corridor. The hostel does not have good infrastructure.
The course curriculum is changed with the advancement of technology and added alongside with the syllabus. This course needs one to have both practical and theoretical knowledge, and it is provided well by the teachers. The course curriculum is vast, and it requires a lot of attention.
I am doing MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course, so there are no placements in our course. Every student who passes the final year exam gets a chance to do an internship. Our course is totally different than other courses. When we complete our internship, then we are provided with a license to practice on our own, or we can opt for our postgraduation.
Yes,in my college there are ac equipped labs, enough number of cadavers in anatomy dissection lab.In our classroom, there is not enough number of benches to sit since student strength in our session ie. 2019, there were total of 225 students. In 2020 there will be 250 students. The situation of benches in second prof lecture hall is very very pathetic. There are no security cameras in our campus. There is no WiFi in hostels. Although food quality in mess is quite good. There are 3 food mess to choose
I am currently in 1st prof MBBS(2019-2024).The quality of study is quite low. Teachers are not willing to teach. They teach half heartedly in anatomy department.Although physiology and biochemistry teachers are good. They put in a lot of hard work and you can contact them for your query.Practical classes are good in all the three departments of first prof.
Very students are able to crack Pg entrance exams based on college teachings. According to teachers, interns don't even know how to measure blood pressure.Since teachers were also average in their studies, they are also making us average.Teachers have studied from very low ranking medical colleges, they don't know to make student understand particular concept. You have to work on your own.College is only for attendance. You can prepare better than teachers at your home.
My course fee per year is -80k in first prof,1lakh in 2nd year,Rs1,10,000 in 3rd,Rs 90k in 4th year and 60k in 5th year.So total fee is Rs 4 lakh,40 thousand. This is not totally worth it.There is very poor quality of teaching. Also from, 2020 total fee for 5 years would be 7.8 lakhs thus making this one of the costliest MBBS course in whole country.
Campus is pathetic. Although there is gym but very poorly maintained.Newly built boys hostel is good but old hostels are not worth of living. They charge you 40,000 per year for hostels.Food expenses are extra. There is no AC provision in first year.Library is good. There is also swimming pool. There are grounds for basketball and football. There is also court for badminton.Auditorium is also good.Though campus is good but is very poor as compared to other medical colleges.
Hey student,
Eligibility for getting admission in government college for Bsc nursing through PPMET is 35%(30% for SC, BC) marks in the entrance test.

Hello,
To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-
• Number of applicants in NEET exam
• NEET question paper difficulty level
• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result
• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021
Also since the new Medical colleges have been added, one can't predict as to what rank or what marks will they close the admission at . Things will become more clear only after the declaration of the results.
NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-
• General - 50th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile
• General-PwD - 45th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile
