Government Pharmacy College, Bangalore (GPC Bangalore) is an oldest and prestigious college in the field of pharmaceutical education, started in 1964. The co-educational college at the moment anchors itself in Bangalore Karnataka and it occupies 6.25 acre. Being an affiliated college, GPC Bangalore is the member of PCI, that is Pharmacy Council of India and provides quality education in the particular filed of pharmacy. Institute has 6 course within 3 degree programmes with focus on multiple areas in pharmaceutical sciences. They comprise of D.Pharma (2-years), B.Pharma (4-years), and four 2-years M.Pharma programmes in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology. The D.Pharma and B.Pharma programmes admit 60 students each and the numbers for M.Pharma programmes are unclear. Each of them is aimed at giving further understanding of pharmaceutical issues and skills, which are important for reaching the career goal.
