Government Polytechnic Buxar established in 2017-18 is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education, Patna. The institute functions under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Bihar. GP Buxar courses include diploma in engineering courses in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering and electronics engineering. GP Buxar admissions are done on the basis of Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. Good Government College for Engineering!

Government Polytechnic, Buxar has all the necessary facilities including infrastructure and the equipments with it. The classrooms at that time was having digital boards, good lightning, and all other necessary requirements. There was library, sports equipments were also provided. The college campus was good enough clean and maintained.
Overall experience is good
