Affiliated college in Punjab, India, which is newly established in the year of 2005 is Government Polytechnic College for Girls in Dinanagar. Being an all-girls institution accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), diploma courses in technical and other specialities are provided here. Located in a 14.06 acre campus, it has a total student enrolment capacity now of 59 and faculty strength of 11. The following is its diploma courses: Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering. This is a college that focuses on technical education for women given its primary intention of empowering the female student in engineering and technological studies.

Currently, Govt. Polytechnic college for Girls, Dinanagar offers two diploma courses, both are of three years duration for which admission can be taken direct. The mentioned programmes are Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering and Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering. These two courses have an approved capacity intake of 60 students for each of them and consequently a total seat capacity of 120. The college aims at producing high quality technical professionals for employment in the expanding areas of computing and Electronics.
