Government Polytechnic, Gopeshwar, was established in the year 2006 under affiliation to Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee. This institution is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, offering diploma programs in different branches of Engineering. The polytechnic is situated on a compact 5.13-acre campus with a total student enrolment of 23 and a faculty strength of 4 at present. It offers three diploma courses in Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Communication and Computer Networking.
