Government Polytechnic, Jalna was established in 1985 by the government of Maharashtra. Government Polytechnic, Jalna which is an affiliated college of Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai has a spacious 13.25-acre campus that is still growing. This institute offers various three-year diploma programmes in engineering and architecture during the regular shift.
