Government Polytechnic, Kendrapara was established in 2013 to help students grow their career in technical education. It was started by the State Govt. of Odisha under the department of Employment & Technical Education & Training. Government Polytechnic, Kendrapara is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). 

The institute provides admission to five courses namely - civil, electrical, electronics and telecommunication, mechanical and mathematics & science.
