Government Polytechnic, Kendrapara Admission Process

Admission into diploma and lateral entry courses at Government Polytechnic, Kendrapara are conducted through a counselling process held by the Department of Skill Dev & Tech Education Diploma Institute. Based on merit, students are offered admission to courses.   • After submitting all details in the application form, candidates will also have to upload required documents as per specifications. 

  • Next, candidates have to fill up their choices either (i) institute wise, then branches or (ii) branch wise, then institutions. 

  • Finally, click the pay button to proceed on for payment.

Candidates should have passed HSC conducted / declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha with at least 35% marks in aggregate, and 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with Math, Science & English. 


Lower age 14 years and upper age – No bar


Lateral Entry 

Students should have passed +2 Science from CHSE, Odisha or its equivalent examination with PCM / +2 Vocational (2 Years course) in any Engineering trade / 2 years ITI in Engineering Trade with pass in HSC Examination or its equivalent as declared by BSE, Odisha and securing 30% marks in each subject. 


Lower age 14 years and upper age – No bar

Documents required for Government Polytechnic, Kendrapara Admission

  • Pass certificate of High School Certificate (HSC) examination awarded by BSE,

  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST)

  • NCC certificate 

  • Disability Certificate in support of PC/PWD category 

  • Green Card certificate of parents issued by the CDMO of concerned district of Odisha

  • Employers’ certificate in Form-I as applicable.

  • Residential/Nativity Certificate

  • ITI Pass/ +2 Science (PCM) / +2 Vocational pass certificate & mark sheet issued by the SCTE&VT, Odisha/CHSE, Odisha/ 12h standard.

  • Annual Income Certificate

  • Income & Asset Certificate

  • Aadhar Card
