About Government Thirumagal Mills College, Vellore
Government Thirumagal Mills College, Vellore founded in the year of 1964 is an affiliated college located at Gudiyattam, Tamil Nadu. NAAC accredited and recognized under AICTE, New Delhi, All India Council for Technical Education. Currently located in 47-acre space, the college provides 64 courses toward 11 degrees, fully enrolling the 3,704 students. In terms of gender breakout, there are 58% male and 42% female students and 87% of students are under graduate and 13% are post graduate. The college has a faculty member of 60 practitioners to accommodate different fields of arts, science, commerce stream.
Herein there are host of facilities that are accorded to the students by the college. These are Boys’ hostel, gym for a healthy lifestyle, and library to devour knowledge for both students and members of staff. The different games includes chess, carroms, cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, handball etc. which are played in the sports club of the university. The institution is equipped with computerized laboratories, a cafeteria, a facility for holding events and seminars, computer and science laboratories, and adequate compound for parking cars. Such facilities are useful in enhancing learning environment and assists in the development among students.
Thirumagal Mills College, a Government aided institution of higher learning currently has numerous programs of study cut across various fields. The institution offered 64 courses comprising of full time, part time courses, research programmes among others. The college is known to admit students to different courses offered within the institution; this include the widely known course such as BCA, BBA, B.Com, and BA Economics. The undergraduate programmes take three years, more so most of the postgraduate programmes take two years to complete. The total number of students admitted into the college in all courses is 3,189. In a year 2022 the college recorded a total of 3704 students, out of which 3209 were undergraduate and 495 were post graduate students.

Government Thirumagal Mills College, Vellore, is very committed to providing education to all through its extensive scholarship program, all postgraduate and undergraduate students were given some kind of financial compensation.
For undergraduate courses, which last 3 years, all 3,454 students enrolled were reimbursed. For 2-year postgraduate courses, all 474 students were reimbursed. For 3-year postgraduate courses, 26 out of 27 students were provided with financial aid.

Degree wise Admission Process
