66 MonthsBachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) is a 5.5 years full-time course, which includes 4.5 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship. Offered by Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, and approved by National Medical Commission (NMC).
Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidate should be a citizen of India.
2. Candidate should be a native of Tamilnadu.
3. The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December (Evidence to be produced).
4. The candidates under Physically challenged Category- (Locomotory disability of lower limbs alone). OC/BC/BCM /MBC/DC should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in each prescribed subject in the qualifying examination.
Admission Details
Admissions in MBBS course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
The examination will be conducted by the Deputy Controller of Examination of the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai every year during the months of February and August.
