66 MonthsBachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) is a 5.5-year full-time course, which includes 4.5 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship. Offered by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Eligibility Criteria
1. The candidate should be a citizen of India.
2. The candidate should be a native of Tamil Nadu.
3. The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December (Evidence to be produced).
4. The candidates under the Physically challenged Category- (Locomotory disability of lower limbs alone). OC/BC/BCM /MBC/DC should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in each prescribed subject in the qualifying examination.
Admission Details
Admissions to the MBBS course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
The examination will be conducted by the Deputy Controller of Examination of the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai every year during the months of February and August.
