For admissions in  Grant Medical College, Mumbai through the State quota(Regional), the cut 2017  was a rank of11,730 and  547  for the UR category. For UR woman it was 544 marks and 12409 rank.

And the cut off under the state quota (state)was a rank of 8,218 and 563 marks for UR and a rank of 3,176 and 597 marks for UR woman.

You can expect a similar cut off this year too. Hence marks within this range would be required based on your domicile and Category.





Some states like Karnataka etc. has Kashmiri Migrant reservation so if you explain the particular state you wish to take admission accordingly I can help you better.

Based on the previous year cutoff, 500+ would be a decent score for admission to Grant Medical College, Mumbai under 15% All India Quota for SC category.

Once you have qualified neet 2017 you can register for counselling and lock your colleges according to your preference and then once the counselling process is over you have to report to the college alloted to you.

Yes she has got a good chance of getting a government college .Not so sure of Mumbai but in Maharashtra yes she can get a government College.

Both the colleges, Grant Medical College and sir JJ group of Hospitals, Mumbai and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College and King Edward Memorial Medical College, Mumbai has AAAA rating which means very good.

You can try for admission in any of the colleges.
