Hello student,

If any student leave the course in between then there is surely a penalty for this. The penalties fees vary as per the institution terms and conditions. Like government institutions charge low penalty but private institutions sometimes even charge for the whole course fees as penalty. The fees to be paid as penalty will be known from the institution itself.

Hope you get some clarification.

Both the college are well established and have been producing great doctors over a good period of time. But from the point of view of academics and professional growth, Grant Medical College is better than that of KEM Medical college. The reason behind it:

  • The clinical exposure in GMC is better than KEM
  • The professors in the field of surgery, Gynaecology, Orthopedics are better than that of KEM.
  • The infrastructures is more well maintained in GMC and the ambience or the environment among the students are very good.

Hey,

Yes, Grant Medical College Mumbai is a government medical college under Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.

Since you did not mention your category, I am assuming you are asking about general category.

In the second round result of all India counselling 2020, the last rank to get Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital Mumbai under general category was 2828 . In 2020, this rank corresponded to marks of around 658 . Nothing fixed can be said about the corresponding marks in 2021 until this years NEET results come out. Since cut offs and ranks are subject to change every year depending on the difficulty level of the paper, the performance of the students and the number of seats available.

If you have given NEET this year, you can predict your rank using NEET Rank Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp
