The college has a library facility for all students. The education in the para-medical stream keeps advancing always. Looking to this, we have equipped our library with the latest books, publications, journals, research papers, and magazines on health sciences. Online subscriptions to all the latest e-publications and sites in each field are also ensured. Large space for proper seating and sufficient number of computers for hassle-free browsing is also provided in the library. Both Indian and international medical journals are made available. The teachers and students will find our library sufficiently equipped for all their reference needs.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The latest computer systems in sufficient numbers connected to the faster internet network is the main attraction of our computer lab. All our systems are equipped with widely used and the best clinical software. In addition, enough computers are available in the library and every department to ensure uninterrupted access to students.

The canteen at GIHS runs on the motto “hygienic and tasty food at affordable rates”. Close monitoring of all activities from procuring food materials to consumption by staff and students ensures that the canteen follows its motto in word and spirit. The canteen is very spacious where 150 persons can comfortably sit and have their meals/refreshments together. Excellent service by the canteen staff fills our minds also while we enjoy the food and refreshments at the canteen. All the students, staff members and visitors to the institute are benefited by the services of the GIHS canteen and there is no need for them to look for refreshments, lunch, and potable water anywhere else.
