BA Bengali Hons at Guskara Mahavidyalaya, Burdwan Offline Course

i. Applicants who have obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in a maximum of 5 subjects (including at least 1 Language subject) in the Higher Secondary / Equivalent examination will be deemed eligible. 

ii. Applicants for any Honours course must also obtain minimum of 45% marks in the Higher Secondary / Equivalent examination. iii. Those who are applying for History, Philosophy or Political Science can do so even if they do not have the subject applied for at the Higher Secondary / Equivalent level. In such a case, the highest marks obtained from among the Language subjects of the applicant would be considered, provided that the said marks is not less than 45%. 

iv. Applicants for Geography must obtain a minimum of 45% marks in Higher Secondary / Equivalent examination in Geography (qualifying marks in theory & practical separately). 

v. Applicants for Economics have to obtain a minimum of 45% of marks in the said subject and qualifying marks in Mathematics. Those who do not have Economics at the Higher Secondary / Equivalent level can also apply provided they obtain a minimum of 45% marks in Mathematics in the Higher Secondary / Equivalent examination.
