Happy Child College of Nursing, Sonipat, was established in the year 2011, and since then, it has been one of the premier institutions focusing on nursing education in Haryana, India. The affiliated college is spread over 6 acres at Mehlana Road, Saraswati Vihar, opposite Sector 23 Water Supply tank. The institute is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and offers four full-time nursing programs with a total enrolment of 277 students. The faculty strength touches 33, which ensures a good student-to-teacher ratio. It is a girls-only institution, hence playing a very important role in the empowerment of women in the health sector.

The College is fully committed to providing a congenial learning atmosphere, with all facilities available to help develop the all-round growth of the student in both academic and personal spheres. On campus, there is a well-stocked library necessary for nursing research and study. State-of-the-art laboratories provide hands-on training experience, very crucial in developing practical skills in nursing. There is a girl's hostel that provides comfortable accommodation to the students for their convenience. The college also has a health center where first-aid facilities are available in case of any emergencies. It has sports facilities and a gym to encourage students to lead a healthy life. It also has an IT infrastructure that aids innovative learning techniques, a cafeteria serving as a common place for relaxation and mingling, and an auditorium where many events and seminars take place to help enrich the academic experience.

Happy Child College of Nursing runs various programs in Nursing at different cadres of the educational field. The institute is having four full-time courses: ANM, GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, and Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing, spread over a period of 2 to 4 years of duration in order to equip students with the fundamental knowledge and skills in nursing. The sanctioned intake of all programs combined is 160 students per year. Among these, B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing are offered to 50 students each, GNM to 40 seats, and ANM to 20 seats.
