Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc Nursing: 4-year B.Sc Nursing course with 50 seats at Happy Child College of Nursing is admitted based on the merit of the qualifying examination (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. Shortlisting could be done on a merit basis as per marks secured in these subjects.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This is a 50-seat program for registered nurses who want to enhance their qualification. Candidates should have a GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course from a government-recognized institution. The admission may be on merit basis based on the work experience and marks obtained in the GNM exams.
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): 40 seats are provided in the college for the GNM course. The 3-year diploma course is appropriate for the students passing their 10+2 in science group. The admission process presumably involves a merit list on the basis of 10+2 marks with first preference being given to those candidates who have secured higher marks in Biology.
ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife): There are 20 seats available for this course, and ANM is a short-term course with the focus of training basic nursing professionals. The eligibility criteria for admission to the course generally demand 10+2 in any stream. A merit list, perhaps considering 12th standard marks, may be adopted as the selection procedure.
