HHMSPB NSS College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college hostel located inside the campus accommodates around a hundred students every year. This is also a recognized Sports Hostel. The Principal is the warden. The hostel mess is run by a committee.

The General Library is fully automated. All students are members of the college library. The library has two sections (a) Reference (b) General.(a) Regulation Regarding the Reference LibraryBook of reference, illustrated and rare books and collections shall not be lent out to students.Reference books may be lent for a week to the members of the teaching staff with the permission of the principal.(b) The general library will be open from 9.00 am to 4.00 on all working days. A student is permitted to borrow only one book at a time from the general library.Application for a book should be deposited by the student in the box kept for the purpose before 12.30 pm on the day on which books are to be issued.

A yoga and fitness center attached to the college benefits the Sports students. The staff and other students also make use of this facility.

The college has a well-equipped Computer lab with 45 computers with internet connectivity, 4 printers, and a scanner machine. The lab facilities are utilized by students and staff members for educational purposes. The computer lab acts as a center for conducting IT related classes, Practical sessions and also as a center for additional learning. Students utilize the Internet facility for knowledge acquisition, project preparation, and extra reading.

The college canteen caters to the needs of the students and staff.

An auditorium with a seating capacity of thousand, located inside the campus, serves also as a waiting room and indoor recreation room for the students

The Parent-Teacher Association has provided one bus to the college which is managed by staff-committee. A good number of teachers and students make use of this facility.
