Classrooms with decent seatings and blocks, plug points, projectors , fans , and drinking water, canteens, wifi, sports area are some of the facilities and infrastructure which are there in the College. Hostel and mess is also provided by the college as it is a residential institution.
I did my graduation in Commerce, the quality of teaching could be better though there are toppers from the institute. They can add more recent trend syllables to the curriculum which can make us job ready.
The Institute only focuses on the academic prospects of the students so there is no internship and placement offered by the institution. Most of the students opt for higher education outside the college as Master courses are not available in the institution as it is only a bachelor college.
If we ignore the placement i feel it is worth the money, spending 3.5lakhs for all the facilities and accommodation.
Fest, Sports events and College meets are some activities offered by the college which make living more exciting and comfortable.
Bus service, wifi, hostel which is clean and hygiene and shared with other students, football ground, GYM and classrooms with proper seating and arrangement for the students with projectors are provided by the institution but they lack AC and smart board.
The teachers are quite friendly and good in nature as they guide us to take the best step for our future and career, they guide us theoretically with the recent trends examples which help us to perform well in exams. The curriculum is not fully updated and requires some changes towards the syllabus.
The institute doesn’t focus on any placement nor on the internship for the students as they are fully focused on the academic process only. The institute doesn’t provide us any master’s courses so students have to move out after their graduation.
The total spending for the course and hostel fees is around 3.3 lakhs which is decent with the amount of knowledge and experience we get from the institute.
The campus life of HATIM is outstanding as it being a residential college, students enjoy their free time playing or training them self and also we have fest and farewell during the course.
The infrastructure, facilities and equipment of the college provided to us is decent. They provide us with a football ground and gym where most of the students goes after the classes, classrooms with plug points and projector, hostels, etc.
I did my BCom from Hatim because it is one of the best during our time which provides toppers from each departments. The faculties are of the one best in the town, they are supportive and enthusiastic about teaching.
The Institute doesn’t provide us with master courses neither placements nor internships they only focuses on the academic of their students. Most of the students seek jobs from outside or pursue for higher education.
We have 1 football field, mini basketball court and various indoor games facilities. We have spacious library where current affairs are available. We have smart boards in each and every classroom and also we have a big computer with a very high internet speed. The area is clean and very hygienic as we have every social work of cleaning the areas on Saturday. Separate hostels for girls and boys are available with internet connection. The food are clean, fresh and we get the best food available.
I studied B.Com as I am strong in numerical. Our department Professors were very talented and friendly. Especially for me Our Accounts teacher was my favourite as he used to conduct brainstorming activities in the classroom. The syllabus are changed from time to time as MZU is the head of these things. We not only concentrate on what is inside the book but also gives numerous entrance exams and later discussed it with our professors. In HATIM, we have a very good study environment and culture
There is no direct placement available at our college but few students those are talented and are the top ones do gets placed from time to time. Especially in our domain, Mizoram Rural Bank and numerous private banks offers jobs to those who attain average CGPA of 8.5 and above from 1semester to 6semester. The highest in our batch got Rs55,000 and the average package was Rs 35,000. From our batch out of total 48 students, 12 got direct placement
Back then education cost per year including hostel fees was Rs 80,000. I feel this is a fair amount because there are various things that we did that moulds students where other college dose not provide it. On our final year there are 6 students in each group and all of them had a separate mentor. Also we had our projects where we published research papers as well. The top research presenter used to get rewards in the morning assembly as well. Considering all these, it is quite cheap.
This is what makes it awesome to stay in HATIM. The best part about the campus is that everyone is so closed at is a fully residential college and our total strength were not that much. The worst part is that our campus life has gone very fast, we missed it. Professors, staffs were like our own family members as they supported us in every single way. There is no bias from them, each students were treated equally. The location is perfectly desirable and the foundation of the building are strong.
We have 1 football field, mini basketball court and volleyball court as well. Each classroom uses smart boards and some of them are even touch screens. We have a big library where there are numerous books available like current affairs, politics, travellers sections, etc. We have girls and boys hostel where wifi is available and separate cooks as well. The living space inside and outside the classroom is clean and beautiful. The food is always maintained in good conditions because of the quality
I have completed my B.com From Hatim because I wanted to work in the financial sector. The teachers are very openminded and interactive when it comes to teaching both on and off the class. The curriculum is changed from time to time and we would be one of the first college in Mizoram to implement if there is any changes made. Passing out from Hatim, really gives me confidence as due to the numerous opportunities it laid for us.
No direct placement is there, however they are few students who got placed from our senior batch as well as our batch. But in-order to get placed one must attain good marks during the whole 2 and half years as banks and other agencies normally comes in the middle of 6 semester. The average package was Rs30,000 and the highest package was Rs60,000 from our batch. There are no place-com so the teachers present their students marks and on the basis of that secretion is done.
The educational cost for B.com 3 years was Rs1,80,000 which is not that high. I did not regret taking admission in this college because not only the fee is cheap but because of its additional perks. As it was fully residential earlier we deposited the whole amount at once however if we are not in the hostel for a month we could get reimbursement of some value of the principal amount. Also teachers are always ready for extra classes, as the care for the students.
Located at the outskirts of a city with breeze winds around us no sound to disturb us, hearing the birds chirping in the morning is what makes it so awesome to stay on the campus. we participate in various inter-college sports, bid-contests, debates, etc. The teachers are always so supportive and even accompany us in these situation. Student are the ultimate supporter for us as they shout at the top of their lungs to support us. Overall it's a great choice to complete Bachelors Degree at HATIM.
The infrastructure of the college is average, and also has various facilities which are also very average. Most of them are well used some not. The living spaces are clean and the food is mostly good.
I am studying Psychology to become a psychologist and help other people out. The quality of teaching varies from teacher to teacher, mostly good. The curriculum is very well updated. No, i don't think it makes me job ready
The quality of placements in my college is very good. 74% were placed, i do not know the highest salary package offered and the course it went to. I also don't know what the average salary is. the process was pleasant and the college was very supportive.
the course costs around 21,680 rupees per year. I feel like im getting my money's worth because it has been very amazing course and the teaching is good. the time and effort put in by the lecturers deserves it.
the college campus is very boring and there is not much to do. the students can go to the library, the eco garden and that's about it. The teachers and students are very well mannered. The location of our college is isolated and far from other people. It is a very safe campus. and yes it can handle emergencies.
°the college infrastructure is moderate. We have one football field, basketball court, indoor staff and lots of mini equipment. All the class are equip with smart tv and also some of the classroom is Ac aswell .we have a big labour atory as well as equip library and a big spacious space where students interac with eachother. There is a different hostel for both boys and girls where wifi is available in both the hostel, the food condition is very hygienic and fresh as we have the best cook.
I have completed my bachelor degree in 2020 as i wanted to work in the finance field. The quality of teaching is beyond measure able because the teaching skills of the teacher are very good .they conduct brainstorm activities from time' to time to increase the knowledge of the students . Syllabus is updated after every two years but the students doesn't face any problem because of the quality of lectures given by the professor
Hatim, doesn't have direct placement as it is an UG college. However some of the students those who are obtaining distinction mark in the fifth semester are invited by some bank to work in there field.the average package accumulate around to 35000 to 40000
The money differs according to the stream selected by the student for me as a b.com students i paid rs.180000 for 3 years. I do believe that the experience and education gain is worth compare to the fees structure.
Hatim, is located at the outscart of the city where the view is amazing and is located on a safe place. As it was fully residential (before all the activities happens within the campus itself.) There is always maximum participation from both the students and the teachers aswell . If you want to experience the best college life in Mizoram, then hatim would be the right place for you.
During our stay, we can't keep our phones and even if we keep our laptops, we don't have the frredon to access it anytime we want which gave us alot of problems in our studies. The living spaces are quite clean and there is no complain regarding the food.
I studied social work in this college. The quality of teaching is quite good but the faculties performance used to be different. Yes, the curriculum is updated and there are so many developments recently.
The quality of placements at our college is quite good as we have a huge campus which included hostels, administration blocks, classrooms, chapel, park, etc. There are 2 hostels such as ladies residence and men's residence where the ladies residence is a full structured building but the men's residence is Assam type. They admitted students who perform well in the entrance and interviews.
We used to pay our course fee for 3 installments. In total, fees are around rs35000 for the whole 3 years. I don't feel we got the best lectures because we can't access internet in classrooms. Study environment is quite dull.
As our college was residential during our stay, we can't go out from the campus if we don't have a good reason. The location of our college is quite safe. We don't face any problems. There are alot of activities such as hill fest, college week, nss, spiritual nurturing program, etc.
I had an amazing experience during my stay in the college. I have the best classmates and we had alot of experiences in the hostels. But there are so many fines, unwritten rules which are unnecessary for students. We can't express ourselves in the way we want to.
The college is well equipped with different infrastructure needed for a quality education. We have a good library and a well functioned computer laboratory. The hostels are hygiene well maintained promoting a good study environment for the students.
The teaching quality is upto the expectation. Teachers are always well prepared and are knowledgeable in their respective fields. One good thing I would like to mention is that the teachers know their students well and are able to cater each individual students needs.
The placement facility needs to be improved. During our time there weren't such programmes so i don't have much things to say here. The college might have done their placements programme now. That will be a good improvement.
The course fees are paid semester wise. I feel that I get back my money's worth looking at the improvement and development I have in the field of education as well as in my own self. It is worth the money we paid.
The campus life is one of the best part of the college. The college campus, as situated in the outskirt of town, is free from the noise and air pollution and is safe. There is a good bond between each and every members of the college family.
Although they are just a church sponsorship college they have a good infrastructure that can support the students in learning. And also is one of the most popular and prominent college in the state. Wifi is free inside the campus, tuck shop is available where the student can buy his needs, basketball and volley ball court, football ground were also available.
Firstly, One will find in the Institute quality education based on good moral conduct, Christian values and English-speaking culture. So because of these reasons i was forced to studied in the college. Secondly, HATIM is becoming top college for commerce in Mizoram, so i am attracted to it. And about the curriculum in my opinion, there are a ground for improvement, irrelevant and outdated topic are still studied in many subjects, so i think the University needs to work on that
For HATIM college they do not provide any campus placement for the commerce, social work and computer students. The other subject were of education, political sciences, philosophy and other arts subject which do not required it.
I think, the fees were worth the lessons we received. The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable and their teaching quality was good, inclusivity is applied in each of their class. They had good communication skills and interactive with the students and know our problems and help us accordingly. This helps us a lot in improving in our academics as well as in our life.
It think personaly for me, it is the best environment so far in my acedemic life, the teacher we helpful and be their whenever we need. There are many clubs where the student can engage like literature, music, cooking, IT, Eco club and many more are available and active throughout the year as they used to organised festival at the end of the acedemic year. The location was also safe and free from commotion as it is located outside the town. For medical, medical facilities and nurse are available
