HJD Institute of Technical Education and Research, Kutch: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

HJD Institute of Technical Education and Research, Kutch is an AICTE-approved college situated within the state of Gujarat, India. The size of the campus is about 17 acres. Total numbers of students in the college are 1,204, and 50 teachers.

Separate hostels for both genders with 24 hour electricity, hot water and CCTV are there. It has a modern gym and a library with a huge collection of books accommodating for 150 students. It has also a big playground for cricket, volleyball, football, and basketball. Each one of the whole campus would have a wireless system.

HJD offers 12 courses,  4 BE programmes (Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering), 4 ME programmes (Structural Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and CAD CAM), and 4 Diploma courses (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Computer Science Engineering). Seats available in each BE programme are between 30-60 seats; seats available for ME programme count to be 12-18 seats; seats available in Diploma courses count to be 30-60 seats.

HJD Institute of Technical Education and Research is very just in the admissions. For under-grad programs, it takes scores from the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET). For post-grad programmes, it takes GATE and scores from the GPCET. This usually helps the institute pick students with good basics and strong analytical skills.
