HKE Society's Polytechnic, Gulbarga: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Technix Polytechnic college which is managed by HKE society was started it in the year 1986 situated at Gulbarga, Karnataka. It is a affiliated college approved by AICTE that provides engineering diplomacy diploma courses for the students. Located in a 10 acre campus land, the institute has the total intake capacity of 644 students and faculty of 20 members. The polytechnic offers six full time diploma courses, in the following engineering disciplines Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science and Automobile Engineering.

It is a humble boast of the institute to possess well equip infrastructural facilities to meet each of the diverse clienteles’. The beautifully constructed hall contains a large number of expanded books regarding engineering or any other editions inclusive of national and international magazine and daily newspapers. The reading room has capacity of one hundred students as tutorial where one is able to undertake majors researches or study. 

The polytechnic also consist of well equipped modern laboratory for each department so as to enable the students be expose to practical knowledge. Technologically, the campus is well equipped for the technological requirement of campus and modern education. For developments of health for the students, there are places to play sports to balance the academic aspect for the students. The college also has an auditorium to conduct various events and seminar which enhances the student’s activities.

In total, HKE Society’s Polytechnic provides for six different diploma courses all of which are of full-time nature. The intake for each course offered in the institute is as follows; The institute has a total approved intake of 480 students. The diploma programmes take a duration of three years each, in which students are equipped with the right knowledge and relevant practical engineering field knowledge. Detailed graduation data is however lacking for the prior year but the total enrolment of the institute corresponds to the intake capacity suggesting a stable population of students.
