The Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, commonly known as Gulbarga Homeopathic Medical College Gulbarga, was established in the year 1980 is one of the most reputed institutions having a commitment towards education and the homeopathic healthcare system. Situated in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, this affiliated college has been the pioneer of homeopathic medicine for more than forty years. Recognised by the CCH and CCIM, the institute provides the following homeopathic medicine courses to its students: The total number of student intakes at the college is 486, and the faculty members who guide them total 41, and enable the college to offer the best environment to learn and explore in the field of homeopathy.

It is well equipped with a myriad of facilities that help treat the learners into becoming better researchers. Within the institutional setting, is a 49-bedded hospital well endowed with modern hospital facilities as recommended by the CCH. The undergraduate section and postgraduate section of the hospital are there where students gain their clinical experience. The college library has an excellent collection of books on homeopathy, available e-books and e-journals through the HELINET consortium of Digital Library Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Students also get facilities like well-equipped laboratories, an auditorium for conducting programmes and seminars, up-to-date information technology facilities. For the round development, the college has sports and a gym. Hostel facilities for boys and girls which include solar water heaters and purified drinking water make outstation students comfortably live in the hostel.

There are, as a whole, six courses in Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Gulbarga, out of which two are undergraduate courses and four are postgraduate courses. The flagship programme is the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), which is a full-time programme for 100 students. Postgraduate courses include five MD homeopathy programmes of 3 years each. These are MD in Materia Medica, Organon of Medicine, Repertory, Advanced Practice of Medicine and Paediatrics. The number of new admissions approved for postgraduate courses is 24 spread over these titles. All courses are full-time, which are as follows: The course of study is intensive and dedicated to the specific fields of homeopathy.
