Infrastructure is inadequate and faculties change midway. The college lacks sufficient resources to support the needs of the students. This includes a shortage of classrooms, laboratories and other facilities.
Academics was good due to a few brilliant teachers. This was wholly based upon the work of a few teachers for which the finance department was actually helpful, but this is not to say that all teachers were good.
Placement has been poor and a lot of politics is played. The force students to take whatever job is on the offer and will not allow the students to sit for interviews if deemed unfit. But this is not the case for preferred students.
Value for money is only there if either you have time and money to waste or you are brilliant in studies. Otherwise they will pack you with some edtech or startup to enhance their placement numbers. So kind of.
Not much as the building is very small. It is just one 6 story building that has really small rooms for the session. There is no proper conference hall as well. They used to have a field for sports, but now only have 2 carrom boards and one table tennis board.
According to me It is not that very good but not that bad also .It is average when it comes to infrastructure.Lots of facilities available under botha Academics and extracurricular activities.Premises is not big but well maintained
A great Thumps up when it comes to Academics.Beautiful and well experienced Faculties and Lots of options to choose according to your Background.it does not matter from which background you come from that's the best part of Academics you have the faculties one hand and om another hand You have the options to choose from your interest
This is the best part of this College. It has a record of 95-99% placements every year and It has been doing that and in near future It will continue to do the same .So when it comes to placements under 9 campuses IBS have it will probably in the first three in the ranking
Yes Absolutely Value for money
I my case It is half Hybrid and Half physical because it was the time when Covid pandemic is on the corner but wI enjoyed the last year of my college life with my friends and when it comes to extracurricular activities this college provides various options both internally and externally
Overall It was a good experience. Both in Academics and other Extracurricular activities.Teaching quality was superb and continuous helping hand of faculties till the placements. Just one drawback According to me is it's infrastructure Except that Value for money and thumps up from myside If you want to learn something ,gain experience and Look for return on investment ,with an average sum of money you invested you will get back it with good output in terms of placements
The college infrastructure was good. The classes were well equipped with smart boards and furniture. In the college we had canteens, T.T room, library, auditorium and staff room. The infrastructure was very good.
The academics is the best part about the college. The teachers are very well trained they are very much qualified. The best part about the college is the teaching faculty. They have industry experience so they very well know what learnings to impart.
The placement is good in college. Some of the big 4 companies, banks, startups, NBFC's, insurance companies and others come. They offer good packages which is good to start with. The profiles offered is also good.
It is definitely value for money wherein I developed in all spheres. Not just in terms of academics but co-curriculars as well as placements. It provides the best experience which one can thrive upon in life.
The campus life is great. There are various events which happens from time to time. Those events help us to manage and apply skills in real life. The crowd is also good. Different social activities also happen from time to time.
Overall it's a great college wherein we get a chance to learn, enhance our skills, grow in life, find my true potential and reach great heights. I will definitely recommend this college to everyone. This will be a great boost in life wherein there will be all round development. Some of the best companies come which will be a great start to our careers as well. The faculty, staff, students , alumini all are very supportive. It is a very beautiful journey which one will cherish for a lifetime.
The infrastructure of this college is very poor, only one building, no playground, no hostels. The classrooms are well maintained though with good WIFI facility and smart boards as well. Good hygiene is maintained.
The academics is good. The teachers are well qualified and teaches very nicely. The teachers make sure that we have a good grasp on the subject. The curriculum is up to date and makes us job ready for the future.
The placement of this college is outstanding. The college has a track record of 100% placement. Even they make sure that the students are well groomed and ready to face interviews and other hurdles like GD.
I paid around 9-10 lakhs for this course and I got already placed before my third semester ended with a good well-reputed company. I think the college is worth the money that I invested in it. This is the best thing about this college.
Made some amazing friends and good networking here. Surprisingly the teachers here supports relationships a lot which I personally find very weird and unprofessional. The location of the college is good and convenient for me to travel
Hygienic and cleaned space is there but the library is not that big and also you will not found many books or recommended books over there. Sports room is there but with limited indoor games.. No such area for outdoor games.
Teachers are amazing the college is very good if someone wants to do MBA in Major in Marketing not so good for Finance as limited faculty members one will find in IBS Kolkata for Finance Subject. Provided.....
Not so good only some limited companies come for placement in finance.. For marketing there is N number of companies, recruiters waiting for you. Students are more but companies are less which is the matter of concern.
Nevertheless it is value for money as after investing 11 lakh you will get a decent job with a good placement which provide you with good return on investment.
It is amazing. The staffs, teachers, deans everyone is cooperative and helpful and student friendly which makes it number 1 college in kolkata.
It is a good college with decent placement
The college has all the necessary things. It is well equiped, with up to date technologies. We have a computer lab with good quality computers and the lab is always avaliable. The sport centre includes table tennis and carom and we have a fun time there.
I'm pursuing PGPM in finance and analytics and MBA in core finance side by side from ICFAI University, Hyderabad. Yes they have an option for that too. The course and curriculum is very dynamic and at par with the industry.
The placement is decent and you very earn a good ROI. The college offers you 100% placement with an average salary of 8L. The placement team brings in very good companies like Deloitte, ICRA, E&Y, etc
The course costed 9.09L but it is worth it. You will get the ROI right after getting placed. The college offers everything in terms of academics, personality development and anything under the sun. The professors are very helpful and supportive.
Though the building is small, but it has all the offerings you want. This place has personally helped me polish many of my skills and uncover the talents I never knew I had. The environment is quite friendly.
The infrastructure is ok, not too great. But, it has decent classrooms, good digital boards, ac works fine, good library, sports rooms, medical facility. Canteen is not good but the overall management is decent
I am pursuing PGPM from this college. The teachers are well experienced and helpful. They follow case based study method here which is very rare and effective and gives a real time business environment feeling.
The placement here is very good, they have a track record of 100% placement. The salary range for most of the students here is 6-8 lakhs per annum. The placement process is very easy and the management is great for that.
The course cost per year is approximately 10 lakhs for 2 years, i had a scholarship so had to pay just 6 lakhs for the course. I feel the money that I invested is worth it, as my return on investment is quite high
The campus life is good. They have a variety of clubs who organizes a number of activities . They have annual fests, marathons, etc. The teachers, staffs are very nice and helpful too. The location is safe and easy to reach from anywhere.
Its a 4-storyed building with absence of auditorium, playground and canteen. Non-Spacious classrooms. However, there is a separate activity area, WiFi accessibly, Smart boards, Computer Lab and things around are kept quite clean and hygienic.
Had been studying Marketing and Analytics as specialisation. Harvard style Case-based curriculum approach is followed under guidance of experienced and qualified professors from top B-Schools. However, I believe a little more effort should be made to make students corporate ready by indulging them more into practical implications of the subject matter rather than mere theoretical approach.
Covid has impacted placements drastically this year. In a batch of 110, approx 80% students got placed by Feb 2021. For marketing students, companies came with pure sales profile only ( no Digital marketing companies or market research companies or MNC's) were seen hiring. For finance students banks like ICICI, HDFC Life, had been major recruiters. Lucky few got into PWC SDC (Kolkata) and Deloitte (Hyderabad). Highest salary package has been 7L p.a. so far.
My PGPM Course costed around 8L for 2 yrs at Kolkata. Since, placements had been poor this year , for me the course was not worth it.
Pre-Covid there had been humungous student activities, clubs like (marketing, HR, Finance, Social Responsibility, Sports, debate, Cultural), events like (Marathon, Desi Day, Freshers Party, Teacher's Day, etc.) were organised. Professors are encouraging, staffs are really friendly and diverse students across country are found with a batch size of max 120. It is located in Salt Lake City, Sector 5 which is a hub of big companies. It is very much safe and can definitely handle emergencies.
