IBSAR Trust's IBSAR Institute of Management Studies, Karjat, Maharashtra, has been a pioneering institute in developing future leaders since the year 2008. This affiliated college, on a small 2.85-acre campus, offers two speciality programmes in management and computer applications; it lays more emphasis on quality education. It has a faculty strength of 12 dedicated professionals who guide and groom a small, close-knit student body comprising just 4 enrolments. It would provide an intimate learning environment with personal attention and intensive skill development in its two postgraduate programs: Master of Management Studies and Master of Computer Applications.
IBSAR Trust's IBSAR Institute of Management Studies prides itself on the availability of an array of facilities that help enrich the student experience. Well-stacked, the library serves as a knowledge hub and offers a wealth of resources for research and learning. It has sports facilities, which help in maintaining a balance between work and life for those interested in physical activities. The IT infrastructure of the college keeps the students updated with the changing technological face of today's modern, digitally driven world. The cafeteria on campus helps the students to chill out, relax, and socialise. Enriching the academic ambience, the auditorium is always busy with events and seminars. Laboratories are well facilitated to enhance practical learning, especially in the case of MCA students. A guest room/waiting room has been provided for visitors, and it will surely reflect the hospitality of the institute with comfortable accommodation.
The academic programmes at IBSAR have been designed and modified according to the changing needs of the job market. Currently, the institute offers two full-time postgraduate programmes, viz., Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). While the two-year MMS programme is aimed at developing managerial talent, the MCA programme is designed for advanced computer applications and software development with a duration of three years. Both programmes are in full-time mode, which helps in immersive learning experiences.
IBSAR is pretty competitive and monitored by State Level Entrance Examinations. For MCA, aspirants have to appear for the Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test (MAH MCA CET). The Admission process of the MMS programme also goes along similar lines, with admissions based on MAH-CET-MMS conducted by DTE Maharashtra. This Institute adopts policies on reservations as specified by the Government of Maharashtra to ensure varied representation in the student body. The Management quota and vacant institutional seats are filled accordingly, based on the guidelines issued by DTE Maharashtra, which opens multiple opportunities for meritorious candidates gaining admission.
