About IBSAR Trust's IBSAR Institute of Management Studies, Karjat
IBSAR Institute of Management Studies, an affiliated college of IBSAR Trust has been pioneering the development of future leaders since 2008 in a small campus of 2.85 acres. It offers two speciality programmes in management and computer applications, with more focus on quality education. The faculty strength stands at 12 dedicated professionals guiding and grooming a very small, close-knit student body with just 4 enrolments. It would offer an intimate learning environment with personal attention and intensive skill development in its two postgraduate programs: Master of Management Studies and Master of Computer Applications.
IBSAR Trust's IBSAR Institute of Management Studies boasts facilities that reflect an impressive array of facilities to enrich the student experience. Stocked well, the library is a knowledge hub which provides untold resources for research and learning. It has sports facilities that will help them maintain a balance between work and life for those interested in physical activities. The IT infrastructure of the college keeps the students updated with the changing technological face of today's modern, digitally driven world. The campus provides a 'lunch room' to the students that helps them to chill out, relax, and socialise. Enriching the academic ambience, the auditorium is always busy with events and seminars. To increase the practical learning level, laboratories have been well facilitated- especially for the MCA students. A guest room/waiting room has been provided for visitors, and it will surely reflect the hospitality of the institute with comfortable accommodation.
The academic programmes at IBSAR have been designed and modified according to the changing needs of the job market. At present, the institute provides two full-time postgraduate programmes, viz., Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The duration of the two-year MMS program is for managerial talent development, while that of the three-year MCA program is for more advanced computer applications and software development. These programs are pursued in full-time mode for an immersive study experience. IBSAR is also pretty competitive and entrance monitored by State Level Entrance Examinations.
The Admission to the MCA programme is based on the Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test or MAH MCA CET. The Admission to the MMS program is also based on a similar pattern: the admissions are granted through MAH-CET-MMS organized by DTE Maharashtra. This Institute adheres to the policy of reservations as outlined by the Government of Maharashtra to ensure diversity in the student population. The Management quota and vacant institutional seats are considered and admitted with the guidelines issued by DTE Maharashtra, thus offering multiple opportunities for meritorious candidates gaining admission.
