IITTM Bhubaneswar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has Hostel accommodation available for boys. To provide an environment conducive to academic and personal development, all residents are required to follow a code of conduct. The hostel has in-house availability of meals, breakfast, and tea prepared in an extremely hygienic condition.

The IITTM Bhubaneswar hostels have in-house availability of meals, breakfast, and tea prepared in an extremely hygienic condition.

IITTM Bhubaneswar Library has a unique collection of 7000 books of various publications, encyclopedias, dictionaries, classics of world literature, and full-text journals. It also receives various Newspapers and newsletters and has Annual Reports from public and private organizations. A wide range of CDs based on travel and tourism themes and those received with books are also available. Online journals are also made available through the Institute’s intranet

The college has a Wi-Fi Wi-Fi-enabled air-conditioned computer centre of the Institute and has an impressive range of the latest computer hardware, software, and many other ICT devices. The laboratory is well equipped with the latest configuration which brings students near the world of information technology. 

The different games that are played at the university include Cricket, Badminton and other indoor games. Resources for indoor games like caroms, and chess are also available. The students are divided into groups that compete with each other in all IITTM Bhubaneswar sports activities during various competitions held throughout the year. Students participate in inter-center competitions.

The college has the proud distinction of maintaining a fully air-conditioned multi-purpose Hall. This well-designed hall with a seating capacity of 300 participants is equipped with modern presentation tools. Workshops, symposiums, and guest lectures, and periodically held in this hall.

The college has oral and written communications are an integral part of the life of a professional. Therefore, special emphasis is laid on the development of these skills by the students through classroom presentations/seminars and workshops on personality development. Further, the students are given specific topics by the faculties as a part of their tutorials. The students extensively use the computers to design classroom presentations and the same is made through wall wall-mounted LCD projectors.
