Indira Institute of Technology is indeed a renowned institute where you can take admission because of their sophisticated infrastructure, well qualified faculties, well maintained classrooms and their remarkable placement records. Now as per their placement trends almost 90% students were placed into prestigious companies, that too with good package. RIIM, Pune: According to the last year placement reports, the highest package offered was Rs 9.8 lakhs and the average package offered was Rs 5.2 lakhs. 

The institute provides 2 courses in PGDM, PGDM Employability and PGDM Employability + Management Development Programme. The fees for PGDM Employability is Rs 4.50 lakhs and the fees for PGDM Employability + Management Development Programme is Rs 6 lakhs.

Recruiters: Kohler, Paytm, ITC Ltd, Justdial, Oppo, Cafe Coffee Day, iFast, IndusInd Bank, Johnson & Johnson etc.

The institute provides specialization in Marketing and Finance. The total fees for the program is Rs 7 lakhs.

So according to the ROI, RIIM is better for PGDM.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is good but compact a bit. The class room are digital and the library is full of books. Library is the best part of college infrastructure. And you will find educational as well as fictional and non-fiction books in the library. I do not live in the Indira hostel so I won't be able to elaborate on hostel infrastructure.

Academics

Course curriculum was very well planned & it was really well structured. Most of the faculty member were the top most faculty members in Pune. Some of faculty were permanent while some visited faculty were teaching in top college of Pune overall it was great experience learning from them.

Placements

Placement are good for marketing. More opportunities in marketing filed second come finance and then hr also have opportunities. Good college with placement ample placement opportunities. Hdfc, Deloitte, KPMG etc visit for placement. Average package offered is between 4 to 6 lakhs.

Value-for-money

The fees is comparatively high. For 1 year pgdm fees is 3,60,000. Including laptop and industrial tour.our campus was on main mumbai Pune express Highway

Campus Life

our campus was on main Mumbai Pune express highway the academy campus was on one side of the road while hostel was on another side. campus life of memorable since we were in management PGDM course so there were more management workshop rather than engineering based projects. we had some small projects with various organisation and in-house session about latest business environment.

Admission to Indira Institute of Management, Pune is through CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/MHCET.

Now, the weightage of your entrance exam score is 35%, Score in Academic Performance is 15%, GD and PI is 45% and Participation in Sports, Extra-Curricular Activities, Academic Diversity and General Diversity is 5%. So, just the entrance exam score is not contributing completely for your admission here.

Both the colleges are good in the field of Management but Indira Institute of Management, Pune has better rankings and ratings. The professors are extremely talented and very supportive. The college provides a pool of facilities like gym, sports, free wifi etc. The job opportunities are more there. Tentative placement percentage is around 87%. Reputed companies like Amazon, ITC, Deloitte, TCS, Asian paints, Schlumberger, MRF Tyres etc come for recruiting students. Last year the highest package offered was 7.3 LPA by Federal Bank.

Indian Institute of Management are not private but they are autonomous and these institutes are supported by These institutes operates it's day to day activities independently and these are overseen my IIM council which consists of senior officials from IIM and HRD ministers of Government of India.

Dear Shivraj, IIM Pune offers PG Diploma courses. You cannot pursue a PG Diploma after your 12th. You need to hold a Bachelor's degree to pursue Post Graduation or Post Graduation courses. So after your 12th, you should pursue Graduation in any discipline and secure atleast a minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 50% for General Category and 45% for Reserved Categories. Next you have to appear for CAT. CAT is an entrance examination for admission to IIMs and top B schools of India. Once you appear for CAT, based on your percentile and academic profile, you get shortlisted to IIMs. Then you have to attend Group discussion and Personal Interview rounds. The final score will be calculated and you can seek admission. This is the same procedure for all the IIMs including Pune and Rohtak.

IIM stands for Indian Institute of Management and they are top B-Schools in our country and are government established institutes. However, IIMS Pune is International Institute of Management Studies and is therefore not an IIM.

IIIMS Pune is a private college, on the other hand, IIM Rohtak is Indian Institute of Management and is a government college.
