Indore Women’s Polytechnic College is situated at Rajendra Nagar, near AB Road, Indore, Madhya Pradesh and was founded in 1993 to cater technical education to the needy and deserving mass of women students. This institution is owned by the government for the purpose of offering quality technical education to women to improve their struggles in the different engineering and technology disciplines. Affiliated with the AICTE, the college provides various diploma courses intended to train students with skills and knowledge. The college employs 10 experienced professionals in its faculty, therefore, students receive individual and adequate support and consultation.

Indore Women’s Polytechnic College provides students with various amenities that allow the college to facilitate the training of its learners as follows. A well stocked library has all sorts of textbooks and reference books relating to Architecture and Interior Design, Computer Science & Engineering and Fashion Technology. The college also provides updated laboratories such as Drawing Lab, Material Lab, Basic Lab, Hardware & Networking Lab, ADT Lab, Stitching Lab and Computer Lab to practice in their own filed. To cater to the safety needs of the female students, the college has a girls hostel that has the capacity to host 109 student and it has a mess that is capable of feeding the students and a general hall where student can relax. The campus also has medical first aid facilities, football pitch/ basketball court/tennis courts, and parking space which make provision for comprehensive development in every aspect.

Indore Women’s Polytechnic College has four courses for which the students have to get the diploma, all three years of full time study. These programmes include Diploma in Architecture and Interior Designing, Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Diploma in Fashion Technology, and Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology. The college offers a total of 189 seats in these courses with 54 seats in Architecture, Interior designing, Computer Science and Engineering, and  Fashion Technology, 27 seats each in Hotel management and Catering technology. All the courses are available in full time only and therefore all the students get an all rounded training in their fields.

The procedure of admission at Indore Women’s Polytechnic College mainly consists of the result of MP PPT (Madhya Pradesh Pre-Polytechnic Test. Under this entrance examination, the university tests the ability of students interested in technical education every year. As a part of these values, the college adheres to the concept of make education affordable in an attempt to make quality education more affordable, the fees for all the diploma programmes are the same which is ₹ 30,660.
