Indus Seafarers Training Academy, Chennai Facilities
The Indus Seafarers Training Academy (ISTA) in Chennai offers a range of facilities to cater to the needs of its students. These include a well-equipped dispensary for medical treatment and first aid, though students are responsible for any treatment costs. The academy also maintains a spacious library which has technical books, magazines, and valuable resources. For accommodation, ISTA provides well-designed dormitories for both male and female candidates, with mattresses and pillow covers provided upon joining. - Medical/Hospital
The college has an In-house dispensary available for medical treatment and First Aid ISTA will take necessary care of any emergencies. At the same time, it is not responsible for any personal injury or any disease suffered by any trainee during their stay. Medical Assistance will be provided at the student's cost for their treatment.

The college has an academy that maintains a Spacious Library with the latest Technical Books & Magazines. In addition to a vast collection of books and publications, the latest Merchant Shipping notices and rules, a databank of Shipping companies, and other marine links are also available.
- Boys Hostel
The college has a Being fully residential program, Hostel facilities for the candidates consist of well-designed dormitories. Mattresses and pillow covers will be supplied to each cadet on the date of joining for their use during the training.

- Sports
The College provides sports and recreational facilities to its students. The facilities include Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Swimming, football and other indoor games.
