The Institute of Biomedical Sciences: Purba Bardhaman has been established as an institute of biomedical sciences and hence commences the effective journey to train the minds for the future health professionals. Admission to the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) programme is entirely merit-based and in order of merit. Institute of Biomedical Sciences: Purba Bardhaman admission in the BMLT programme is done through Integrated JENPAS UG- Joint Entrance for Paramedical and Undergraduate, to which students from West Bengal are qualified to apply for this entrance-examination which will be conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.

  • The first step begins with registration at the official WBJEE site as prerequisites for applying for WBJEE (JENPAS UG).
  • Go on to take the scrutinised JENPAS UG test on the given date, April 26, 2025.
  • Successful candidates shall apply to the Institute of Biomedical Sciences through online mode after the declaration of results.
  • The Institute might require candidates to fill a separate application form which will be available either in the official website or at the Institute admission office.
  • Submission of all the necessary documents.
  • Application fees will be as prescribed by the Institute for concession holders. 
  • Then, attend counseling if called for by the Institute.
  • If selected, confirm admission by paying the fees and verifying documents.

All admissions are based purely on merit in JENPAS UG, and chances of getting into the institute largely depend on the rank scored by students on this examination as the number of seats is limited to just 20.

Institute of Biomedical Sciences: Purba Bardhaman BMLT Admission Process 

Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) is the course offered by Institute of Biomedical Sciences: Purba Bardhaman. This institute, therefore, offers not only the Bachelor's Programme in BMLT but also pursues rewarding careers in medical laboratory technology, which is the backbone of modern health care. Institute of Biomedical Sciences admission to BMLT is strictly against each rank according to one's performance in the competitive examination conducted by WBJEE for the conduct of the JENPAS UG test. Limited to 20 students in total, there will be a race between the students for these channels. The course fee for BMLT stands at Rs. 2,10,000.

  • The minimum age limit for NIOS 10th admission is 14 years as on July 31, 2021. Students who born on or before July 31, 2007, are eligible for NIOS admission 2021.

  • He/she must have cleared class 8 from the recognised board or must possess enough knowledge to sit for the class 10 exam. A candidate giving self-certificate and stating that they have studied enough to be eligible for NIOS 10th registration 2021 .
