When a seat is confirmed in the first round but a better seat becomes available in the second round, the first round seat might be cancelled in favour of the second round seat. Based on NCHMCT JEE 2021 cutoff,

General category - 2306 ( Last Rank in Round 3)

SC category - 11349 (Last Rank in Round 3)

ST category - 12240 ( Last Rank in Round 3)

EWS - 6647 (Last Rank in Round 3).

So, If you have any reservation category (SC or ST) , then there will be a chance to get into IHM Kolkata.
