Yes, definitely worth for money
Yes! Teacher's are very attentive and helpful also one last but not least but definitely you go for it.
The infrastructure of the college is very good. All the equipments used in the kitchen and Bakery are excellent. The college is located behind LSR college, Lajpat Nagar. The nearest metro station is Moolchand (Violet line).
The quality of teaching I would say is good. Here you'll be able to get both practical and theoritical knowledge. The college classes start from 9am in the morning and is usually up till 5 in the evening.
Since I was in a batch affected by covid, I was not able to get placement. But before that all the top hotel chains come to this college for placements. For eg. Oberoi, Taj, ITC, Crowne Plaza, Mariott etc.
Here the fees of this college is low as compared to other hotel management colleges, since it is a government college. There are various advantages of one being in a government institute, since one would get more preference than others while getting a job.
The campus life here I would say is okay-okay. Since, it is considered as a 'professional institute' and not a college. Here, one would not be able to get a typical college life like others do in Delhi University.
Had a great experience
The infrastructure is average and it needs to build a new infrastructure. It is a good institute to gain knowledge and enhance your skills. College management tries its best to provide facilities to the students.
The college is very good and the teachers help and support students. The course are more practical than theoretical. Roles like guest service executives and guest service attendance. Because of good training maximum number of students are recruited in good hotels that offer decent salary.
around hundred percent of placements are guaranteed however the quality of placement depends on the students. Some of the top roles offered are management trainee programs of various five star and seven star hotels such as Taj, Oberoy, etc.
The course cost me around 45k and it was totally worth it. I totally recommend this college, if you have a low budget this college will fit in your expense.
The institute has three gates and one of them is permanently closed. It has got one basic training kitchen and one advanced training kitchen.
As the infrastructure of the hotel management college is an average but they provided many facilities well proper physical live classes for the production of food with hygienic and good quality of food
As in the academic of hotel management college is excellent well experience hotel staff members well proper courses of hygienic food with the good experience and have a good quality of faculty members
In the placement of hotel management we hire for the 5 star hotel internship like hyaat taj hotel with good package of salary approximately 6 lac per annum is an average criteria for the placement it provide various seminar
College infrastructure is very good. Students like being in campus. My college have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. It is well equipped with all the necessary equipments. Library is huge and food is hygeinic.
I studied b.sc. and now I am persuing MBA. The quality of teaching was good and the teachers were very nice and supportive. The curriculum was fully updated and included all the recent developments in the field.
The quality of placements was not that good. The average placement was 5 lakh per annum. The staff and faculty was supportive and and many companies visited the campus to recruit students. My college was also supportive.
Overall, my college is a decent fit for students.
They have a proper garden and good ventilation for all the classes and good all infrastructure is good. They have all the equipments for the work and they have clean washroom area and all other are aveage
They have food academics at all good faculty for all the subjects they trach us very well. We understand all the things. They give all the assignments for which are very useful for us and thats all for
Placement is an all around 70 percent for the college they give placement in all the department of the hotel or any sales in all QSR OR Any other mncs that is very useful for students for wirk with them
Auditorium and reception are neat.but the classrooms are still shabby with dirty boards and faulty lights. No new tech available like smart classes and good quality projector.. will hope it gets better with coming time.
Academics is good.or atleast according to me..concepts are made clear..some of the equipments are there for intresting lessons and practical knowledge but still many are missing.teachers are good and cordinate well.
Nice. Most of the biggest hotels come to the college for placements that is good and with good training programs as well.some of the famous fast food chain brands also takes part in the college placements.
I feel like college fees is still a bit too much compared to the facilities provided and the quality of it as well. 75k a semester is close to some of the private management and engineering colleges .
So -So is the campus life .not too many fests happen here and being side by side to LSR college of commerce you can see the difference in life of both colleges students .one has to be in formals all day of the week which kinda kills the college vibe.
try out the delicacies made in college mess..!!!
Apart from smart gadgets or wifi it has facilities for teaching the upcoming youth that should help them to be good hoteliers. Library also helps in providing books and last year question papers. Organize the sports week every year.
firstly they taught the students both theories and give practical knowledge but insist on copying the notes thet they give in pdf form in the journal . Nowdays in pandemic online classes are the waste of time as only theory cannot give experience of work.
As i am pursuing my studies i cannot tell about the placpracti. But by the saying of seniors our college has collaboration with many hotels and chains that can help students with their job and placement in the industry.
Yes, all the necessary infrastructure is there but the problem is there is no proper knowledge given to us to use it. There is no hostel in our college. But it is so important to have a hostel in a college.
Teacher are good. But some teacher think they are too good and they are so overconfident but when they start teaching they also don't know what they are teaching and some teachers are like, they just come to the class n just sit, nothing else.
About the placement it's not always about college it's about student. College is providing the best placement possible. But it's on the student to crack the interviews etc. There is no doubt that our CLG provide such a good placements.
Don't ask please they demand more money than the prospectus. Every semester they increase the fee and I don't know why they include a terrible thing like institutional charges, they are already given the fee which is been told by the NCHM&CT but after all they include such a shit of institutional charges.. Sometime it's like if they are inflating the program and asking for money as the money is been grown on a plant
In this program of hotel management there is no such thing about the college life.. there is full of hard work and lots of assignment work. You will not get time for yourself.
Yes all the facilities were there. The college was having all the facilities like Wifi with neat and clean labs of all the departments like FnB, Housekeeping, Food production and front office with the professional lecturers.
Studied B.sc(Hospitality & Administration) because I like cooking so much. Yes my curriculum is updated and includes all necessary developments in the field and yes I am ready now for doing Job as I have learnt so much during my course and now its show time.
The quality is really appreciable as all the chains of the hotels use to come for the placement as well as the QSR's. 80-90% of the students used to place every year. 6-7 Lacs was the highest offered if the student placed in properties like Oberoi's and Accor group. Yes college was very supportive in all the aspects.
70-80k per year was the cost of the course. Yes my money was totally worth it in all the aspects in the terms of the staff, environment, hygiene, ambiance and the decorum maintained there.
The best part or the time of college campus is Sangathan which use to happen every last month of the year wherein all the students gather and play different sports like indoor and outdoor games and other activities where students engaged in like Freshers or Farewell parties. The location is very prime as its in South Delhi (Lajpat Nagar) and is really safe as just opposite there is Head Office of DCP of Delhi.
Just wanted to convey if the student having interest in Hotel line like cooking , front office etc must try for this college as this is the best college in Delhi after IHM Pusa.
