IHM GUWAHATI
IHM guwahati is a below average college because of cut off. This year cutoff is around 13k and the total student apear in all india exam is 22k(approx) so it'd be easy to take admission.
Verdict: 'kahi nhi mila to yaha mil jayega'.
BTW If you choose this college:
Studying in IHMs is very tough than other private HM institutes. IHMs make their student strong for hotel industry.
Hotel's top priority is to recruit IHM students, so guwahati has number of 5/4 star hotels so their top priority to selct IHM students.
Go ahead and do it with passion and try to be a brilliant student
This was review of a friend who is studying there and as far as IHM hajipur is concerned its also on same page as Guwahati so its,
Very difficult to comment on any specific college, please check their level and scoring on placements and also note the Central recognized college should be firstly preferred
As per rules to pass a theory subject a candidate must secure at least 40% marks in Internal Assessment and End Term Examination together. To pass a practical subject a candidate must secure at least 50% marks in Internal Assessment and End Term Examination together.
Sorry to say this, as per above calculation your marks does not exceed 40% hence your marks is less than the cut-off for passing.

I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.
Respected Aspirant,
The placement opportunities for IHM Lajpat Nagar are higher due to the high reputation institute has built. Many Hotel Chains including Taj Hotel, The Oberoi, Hyatt Regency, Lemon tree, The Grand etc. visit the college for placements.
If you are not planning to drop a year then it is suggested that you first book your seat in Ashok Institute of hotel management and then apply for 2nd round of counselling and give it a try, if you get admission there then you can withdraw your money from Ashok Institute and if incase there are no seats left in IHM lajpat nagar you can go back for Ashok institute.
Dear aspirant,
As per the admission eligibility criteria of NCHMCT a student requires to have passed English(core/elective/functional) as a subject of study. However, any student who is appearing for the board exams will be given admission in the college but only on provisional basis. Thus you should go for counselling and the authorities can provide you admission on provisional basis, once you clear the exam then only your admission will be confirmed.
All the best!!
