In Institute of management Pusa there is no dress code for hostellers. But yes when you are going to attend the lecture in classes you have to be in proper uniform which both day scholar as well as hostellers have to follow. You can wear whatever you wish in hostels in your rooms no one is going to check whatever you are wearing in your room or hostel .

As per the information available, the answer is that yes, you do have to share rooms in the girls hostel. The option available is that of triple sharing. The hostels for girls and for boys are separat buildings and usually girls are dropped off by the college post 6 pm for safety reasons. 

Both the institutes mentioned by you are equally good and thus it will be very difficult to tell which one will be the best option. However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute among them. You can consider the below parameters :

It wouldn't be the farthest choice possible for you to get Institute of Hotel management Shimla with that rank.

If maybe a drag to expect the desired seat in the next round but it might turn a possibility before the rounds of counseling end.

Your present choice isn't that bad either.

Institute of hotel management, catering & nutrition (IHM), lucknow is a good college.

As per the student reviews, it has many placement opportunities. Many companies like J.W. Marriott, starwood and other companies come for placements.

Hostel facilities are available.

Faculty is experienced and interactive.

Many extracurricular activities also happen.

After you ate allotted a seat, simply go to Reporting center to verify your documents and after that once your seat is confirmed, you have to directly report yo the college between 15th July to 20th July, 2019, failing which uour seat will get canceled.

For Getting IHM Pusa your max. rank should be under 3500 for the last round for SC category student. It's very difficult for you to get IHM pusa with your ranking.
