Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Dehradun is an autonomous institute through its Grants-In-Aid Scheme. The college offers diploma and undergraduate courses. IHM Dehradun courses include Diploma and B.Sc in food production, hospitality management, bakery and confectionery and other specialisations. IHM Dehradun admission into the courses is given based on merit in the qualifying examination and NCHMCT JEE scores.

The students should meet the IHM Dehradun cut-off before applying for admission. The Institute has all the necessary labs and classrooms set up to enable students to meet the proficiency requirements for the programmes. IHM Dehradun facilities include labs, classrooms, guest rooms, a library, and other spaces to help students simulate information, attitudes, and skills. 

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida (formerly PUSA, New Delhi) and Indira Gandhi National Open University jointly offer a three-year B.Sc. degree in hospitality and hotel administration at IHM Dehradun. A range of short-term courses are also available at the institute. Merit and eligible students from the courses are given IHM Dehradun placements.
