Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research for Girls, Pune is a woman's college which focusing on pharmaceutical education to women. The institute offers two full-time programs under the pharmaceutical sector: 4-year B.Pharma and 2-year D.Pharma.

The institute admits candidates on a merit basis and is open to all eligible candidates with some reservations. Admission is done on merit, based on the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination, that is, 10+2 or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as core subjects. The course has been designed to provide the comprehensive knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical sciences.

D. Pharma: IPSR offers a 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy, with 60 seats available. Admission to D. Pharma is based on merit, emphasizing the candidate's performance in the 10+2 or equivalent exam. D. Pharma shall help someone to get a foothold into the pharmaceutical industry.
