The Government Institute of Printing Technology and Government Polytechnic College Shoranur was established at Palakkad in the year 1967, is a premier technical educational in institution in the state of Kerala. The engineering and technological institution is affiliated to a university and located in a 33 acres of land; it was approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India – the technical educator of credibility. At the diploma level the institute provides three programmes namely computer engineering, electronics engineering, and printing technology. FACULTY Currently the college has 27 dedicated and qualified faculty members to train the young generations and build up their technical skills to make them good aspiring engineers.
