IIIM Jaipur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

International Institute of Informatics and Management (IIIM) was founded in 1995, and it is one of the dominant institutions based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. As an affiliated college, it offers the postgraduate and doctoral programmes in management and computer applications accredited by AICTE & NAAC. The IIIM Jaipur is located in a small area of 1.5 acres and has a total strength of 449 including students and 18 comprising of faculties. The institute has 4 courses under three degrees, the MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. IIIM Jaipur stands out for its diverse student body and a majority of the students are from Rajasthan, with only  3% being from outside the state.

IIIM Jaipur has adequate infrastructural facilities for students’ academic development and Total personality development. The campus has library with a seating capacity of more than 100 students with a book stock of more than 25460 books and the institute subscribed to many national and international journal and magazines. The IT infrastructure is efficient, offering high-speed internet connectivity and a 1:2 computer-to-student ratio. For female students, comfortable accommodation with all the modern facilities is available in ‘Vasundhara’ hostel. It has also a well equipped auditorium, a multi cuisine restaurant, and well developed sports complex with swimming pool. Medical care is provided throughout the clock to cater for all the health needs of the students. The campus is Wi-fi equipped hence improving the connection for academic activities.

The institute teaches a total of four programmes, full time Masters and Doctorate programme. The MBA programme has an approved number of intake of 180 students and the MCA programme has 60 students intake. In addition, IIIM Jaipur offers Doctor of Philosophy in Management and Computer Applications. All the courses taught within the frames of these programmes are delivered full-time, which means they address those students who want to receive intensive and immediately, when possible, on-campus education. 

The process of admission at IIIM Jaipur is systematic and eligibility for the admission is stringent. While for MBA programme, there is admission through online Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) organised by AICTE. For admission to MCA course, one would have to appear for the NIMCET, National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test. Therefore, the admission of the research scholars in the Ph.D. programmes in Management and Computer Applications is done as per the norms in RTU concerning the admission of the scholars. When these standardised admission procedures have been in-place, they allow the institute to enrol talented students from all over the country. Present entries and reunions promote the institute. Every year, IIIM Jaipur organises alumni meetings in the form of Dharohar through which existing students can interact with the alumni and learn a lot from them.
