IP College, Bulandshahr is one of the affiliated colleges that was established in 1970. The college has campus area of 6.11 acres and offers 16 courses culminating into 9 involved programmes. Thus, it has a total of 1,292 students enrolled and a faculty of 51, making learning a very good environment for the students. The college is acknowledged for quality education and held in great esteem by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The IP College has set an array of undergraduate and post-graduate programs that include the most popular courses such as BCA, BBA, B.Sc, B. Com, and various programmes under M.Sc in different subjects, thus catering to quite a huge lot of academic interests.

One of the amenities which fall in this category include a two-storey library that boasts of about 30,000 book titles besides maintaining about 100 bound journals. Also, besides availing a book bank facility, it also boasts of the National Digital Library. The college has facilities for participation in different games and sports activities like basketball, chess, cricket, volleyball, athletics, etc. It is a home to well-equipped modern laboratories that go a long way in facilitating practical learning in several disciplines. IP College, Bulandshahr offers 16 programmes in its curriculum. It has full-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses under Computer Applications, Business Administration, Science, Commerce, and Education. The total intake for the college amounts to 1,292 students who will study the various combinations of the courses. Some of the more famous courses are BCA, with 300 seats; BBA with 240 seats; B.Sc Bio group with 240; and B.Sc Biotechnology, with 120. The college has other courses, such as M.Sc Biotechnology, M.Sc Computer Science, B.Ed, which are some specialised courses for students who want to pursue advanced studies or teacher training. 

Thus admission is largely merit-based in almost all cases of undergraduate programmes, with the qualifying examination acting as the gatekeeper. However, in the case of professional courses such as B.Ed and M.Ed at the degree levels, the selection process is more extensive in the college. In addition, in its D.El.Ed. admissions, the institute is merit-based in the qualifying examination or optional entrance test, if any, provided by state government discretionary arrangements.
