ITM College of Arts and Science, Kannur otherwise known as ITMCAS was set up in the year 2003. Pavannoormotta affiliated college, Mayyil, Kannur, Kerala, is spread over a large area of 18 acres and 66 cents. ITMCAS currently provide a total of 11 courses spread over seven programmes, with 1,033 total enrolments amongst the students. The college maintains a professional and committed faculty of 46 members, giving a small student-faculty ratio. 

ITM College of Arts and Science is provided with adequate basic facilities to improve the learning process of the institution students. ITMCAS also has special hostels for boys and girls for out-of-town students to ensure they live in comfortable hostels. The college library is an information centre which can boast rich stock of books, journals, publications in various field of study. It uses the COHA Integrated Library Management System; there is provision of automated retrieval of resources with the enhanced management of library services. Its IT/Computer requirements are up-to-date; the computer centre includes adequate internet facilities for the students so that they are in tune with different modern technologies.

ITMCAS provides all types of undergraduate and postgraduate level degree programmes. The college offers 11 full time courses, which are B.Com Finance, BBA, BCA, BA English, B.Sc Physics, M.Com and M.Sc Physics. The focus of the college on diversity of education can be marked as rather wide range of specialisations offered to meet the needs of the students with different preferences.
