ITS Centre for Dental Studies and Research: Ghaziabad is one of the premier institutes of the nation for dental education. As per the merit: based admission procedure laid down by the Supreme Court of India, the institute cops qualified candidates into the BDS and MDS dentistry programs offered at the institution.
To be eligible for the BDS course, candidates have to appear in the NEET exam. Students with a good background in the prescribed subjects will be admitted into the program through this national level exam. The application process is typically started in the month of February and the examination takes place lat the end of the year.
To apply for postgraduate admissions to the MDS courses, the candidates need to pass the NEET MDS exam. This entrance test is designed only for dental graduates applied for admission in various streams of MDS programs offered by the institute.
Application Process:
ITS Centre for Dental Studies and Research adopts a different application processes between undergraduate and postgraduate programs:
For BDS Programme:
1. Register for the NEET exam through the official website of NEET.
2. Fill in the NEET application form and pay the non-refundable fee.
3. Write the NEET exam on the scheduled date.
4. Once NEET results are out, successful candidates will undergo the entire process of counseling.
5. Students allotted to ITS Centre for Dental Studies and Research will then report to the college for document verification and other admission processes.
For MDS Programs:
1. Register for the NEET MDS examination through the official NEET MDS website.
2. Fill up the NEET MDS application form and pay the requisite fees.
3. Give the NEET MDS exam as per the schedule.
4. Eligible candidates shall, after declaration of results, be part of the counseling process to pursue MDS admissions.
5. If admitted to ITS Centre for Dental Studies and Research, candidates report to the Institute with all documentation to undergo verification and complete the admission process.
Degree wise admission process
BDS: Bachelor of Dental Surgery: The BDS course in ITS Centre for Dental Studies and Research, for instance, can be taken for 5 years with a provision of 100 seats at the institute. The entrance test for this course is NEET. Candidates are required to possess a 10+2 qualification in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to be considered for the program.
MDS: Master of Dental Surgery: The institute has been offering 9 MDS specializations; all of which span over a period of 3 years. Admission for all the MDS programs is done through NEET MDS examination. The specializations along with the seat intake are as follows:
