Jai Bharath College of Management and Engineering Technology (JBCMET) was started in the year 2009, which is an affiliated college at Perumbavoor, Kerala. Located in a large 9 acre compound campus of Jai Bharath Women’s Engineering College, JBCMET is fully accredited by AICTE – All India Council for Technical Education. They include undergraduate engineering programmes, and diploma engineering programmes. JBCMET had a total student intake of 204 students and faculty members of 91; this makes it an institution that foster technical education in the country . These are 15 courses spread across two degrees with different specialisation options in engineering and technology.
Jai Bharath College of Management and Engineering Technology has a number of amenities that will help students improve their performance through effective learning environment. The college has the facility of Boys and Girls Hostels separately with fully furnished rooms with round the clock availability of water and Mess managed and supervised by the college itself. Facilities to cater for health needs of students include a health centre complete with first aid services. The college also has a tastefully-done multi gymnasium and health club for the exercising of the college athletes/ students and the staff. The central library and knowledge centre maintaining open stack system library of books, magazines emerging and digital resources. To enhance learner recreation as well as co-curricular activities, JBCMET has sports grounds and students are also free to join various Associations.
As of now, the institute conducts a total of eighteen programmes in which there are full time B. Tech programmes and diploma courses. The B.Tech programmes cover a broad field of engineering including Electrical and Electronics, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Computer Science, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The Diploma Courses offered include Architecture Automobile Engineering Civil Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Engineering. All the programmes are taught in full-time basis, with a view to providing the students adequate theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
At JBCMET, to increase the number of population get an opportunity to get admission it has developed a very simple admission process. For the B.Tech programmes the college admit students that has written and passed the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) examination. This testing is an essential component of admission in the provinces; the test evaluates students in the field of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The college also takes into account the performance of the students in the 10+2 examination or any equivalent level. While admitting the students for the diploma courses, the organisation usually consider the marks secured by the candidate in the qualitative examination. JBCMET runs a Training and Placement Cell to help students for the higher placements, collected campus interview and arrange skill development programmes. The cell also facilitates interaction with the industries ensuring the students learn the trends as well as the techniques in their fields.

Jai Bharath College of Management and Engineering Technology (JBCMET), is one of the prominent institutions in Perumbavoor, Kerala. It offers a variety of courses, namely undergraduate programs in engineering, diploma programs, and management programs. JBCMET conducts admission to select worthy candidates from throughout the country. The admission cycle for JBCMET usually commences in the month of April-May for the academic session commencing in the month of August-September. Applications will be accepted on the basis of entrance exams at the state or national level set by different boards for different programs. The admission for B.Tech programs is through the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) examination, while for MBA programs, it is based on KMAT scores.
B.Tech programs have the following basic requirements for eligibility: a candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects. Candidates are required to write and pass the KEAM examination. The performance of candidates in their 10+2 or an equivalent examination will also be considered by the college. For every diploma program, marks obtained by candidates in their qualifying examination will be considered for admission. Special eligibility criteria may apply to certain program choices. The admission schedule would be included in important dates like that of application deadlines, exam dates, and result announcements and would normally run along the KEAM and KMAT schedules.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: Seven branches of B.Tech programs are offered by JBCMET: Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), Computer Science and Engineering (Internet of Things), and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Admission depends on the performance of the candidate in the KEAM examination. The institute has a total intake of 330 seats across all B.Tech programs.
Diploma: The college offers diploma programs in various engineering disciplines: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automobile Engineering, and Cyber Forensics and Information Security. Admissions to diploma courses depend on the marks secured by candidates in their qualifying examination. Each diploma program has an intake of 60 students.
Under JBCMET, the MBA program admits approximately 60 students whose qualifications are determined through the KMAT score. Shortlisted candidates might also take part in any subsequent selection procedure that the institution decides on.
The MCA program is offered by the college with 60 seats. The method of admission is going to be a combination of the entrance exam score and the academic performance at the level of the degree qualifying examination.
BCA and BBA: Basically, BCA and BBA were two programs offered with an intake of around 60 students each. Admission criteria may be based on performance in qualifying examinations (10+2 level) and other criteria stipulated by the institution.
