Jaypee Polytechnic and Training Centre, Rewa (JPTC) is a reputed technical Institute was established in the year 2011. This affiliated college is situated at Naubasta, Jaypee Nagar, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh covering an area of 2 acres of land. JPTC is also recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under guideline with having the approval for providing quality in the field of engineering. There are four diploma programmes of the institute with total 180 student’s intake for various engineering disciplines. JPTC has the required faculty strength of 20 dedicated professionals that makes a good student-faculty ration necessary for focused attention and quality education.
Jaypee Polytechnic and Training Centre currently has numerous up to date facilities that help in the course of the academic activities. Each department of the institute contains the workshops as well as engineering, computer science, electronics and even mechanical engineering labs. This a important learning resource has over 2450 books, 15 magazines and 10 journals with an expansion plan to become an e-library. Having acquired own campus, JPTC has organised IT facilities with a well-equipped IT server room to accommodate all the computing requirements of both the staff and students. For the out-station students and their accommodation the institute has separate hostels for boys and girls respectively to ensure proper accommodation.
In total, the institute awards four full-time diplomas and all of them take three years to complete. All these programmes target general engineering disciplines in order to equip the students with high technical education. The total number sanctioned admission for all courses for the diploma now stands at 180 seats for Diploma Civil Engineering, 40 seats for Diploma Mechanical Engineering, 40 seats for Diploma Electronics Engineering, and 40 seats for Diploma Computer Engineering. This diversity of programmes enables a student make a choice of the area of specialisation that best fits his or her desire career path.
JPTC has made their admission process rather simple for the intending students for them to gain admission into their institution. Jaypee Polytechnic and Training Centre, Rewa (JPTC) is a prestigious institute of technology and provides quality engineering education. It is very clear that admission to JPTC is an easy step for aspiring students. It is presumed to be admission on the basis of marks scored in the concerned academic subjects required for the diploma courses. This usually happens with commencement at a given time during the year, that is normally August-September. Generally, completion of 10 +2 or equivalent examination in the relevant subjects for the engineering discipline is the eligibility criterion for JPTC diploma. Admission Process Degrees
Diploma in Civil Engineering: It has a capacity of 60 students. Admission is purely merit-based: in Mathematics and Science subjects studied in 10+2. This is a three-year course that prepares students with basic knowledge and skills of civil engineering.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This program has an intake capacity of 40 seats where admission is carried out based on the 10+2 scores of the students particularly on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The three-year course would train the students practically and theoretically with respect to mechanical engineering.
Diploma in Electronics Engineering: This is a three-year program and has a capacity of 40 seats. Eligibility conditions indicate students should have a strong foundation in Physics and Mathematics at 10 + 2 stage. The course hones students in skills in the design and analysis of electronic circuits.
Diploma in Computer Engineering: This also takes an intake of 40 on students. Admission for this program is open based on the 10+2 results scored, particularly in Mathematics and Computer Science (if applicable). This will be a three-year coverage in areas of computer hardware and software engineering.
