Jaypee Polytechnic and Training Centre, Rewa Admission Process

Jaypee Polytechnic and Training Centre, Rewa (JPTC) is a prestigious institute of technology and provides quality engineering education.  It is very clear that admission to JPTC is an easy step for aspiring students. It is presumed to be admission on the basis of marks scored in the concerned academic subjects required for the diploma courses. This usually happens with commencement at a given time during the year, that is normally August-September. Generally, completion of 10 +2 or equivalent examination in the relevant subjects for the engineering discipline is the eligibility criterion for JPTC diploma. It is also a good advice to have strong fundamentals in Mathematics and Science because they are fundamental subjects of engineering.

The Application Process

1. Visit the official JPTC website and browse through admission information and available forms.

2. Download the application form and fill it up with personal and academic details as accurately as you can.

3. Gather together all mentioned documents that normally may include:

  • Class 10th and 12th marksheets and certificates
  • New photographs in passport size
  • Proof of identity and address
  • Caste certificate, if any.

4. Submit the completed application form along with the aforementioned documents at the admission office of the institute personally or by registered post.

5. The application fee has to be paid as specified by the institute; the amount and method of payment will be mentioned in the admission form or on the institute's website.

6. Wait for the institute to process your submitted application; JPTC may choose students through a merit-based selection that may be based on your performance in 10+2.

7. Counseling or interview sessions may be conducted for shortlisted candidates. During the discussion, you will talk about your educational background as well as your interest in the major.

8. Selected candidates will go through the full admission formalities including fees payment and submission of original documents for verification.

9. Attend the orientation program conducted by the institute for students to get acquainted with other campus activities, faculty, and academic rules and regulations.

Admission Process Degrees

Diploma in Civil Engineering: It has a capacity of 60 students. Admission is purely merit-based: in Mathematics and Science subjects studied in 10+2. This is a three-year course that prepares students with basic knowledge and skills of civil engineering.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This program has an intake capacity of 40 seats where admission is carried out based on the 10+2 scores of the students particularly on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The three-year course would train the students practically and theoretically with respect to mechanical engineering.

Diploma in Electronics Engineering: This is a three-year program and has a capacity of 40 seats. Eligibility conditions indicate students should have a strong foundation in Physics and Mathematics at 10 + 2 stage. The course hones students in skills in the design and analysis of electronic circuits.

Diploma in Computer Engineering: This also takes an intake of 40 on students. Admission for this program is open based on the 10+2 results scored, particularly in Mathematics and Computer Science (if applicable). This will be a three-year coverage in areas of computer hardware and software engineering.
