There are closing rank approx to 30k for metallurgical engineering. There are required rank under 8k for top branches.

As you know that the number of applicants in this exam is too high and seats are filled very fast. So what I would suggest you to apply for multiple colleges at a time and don't settle with any one of them for now. Now as you have mentioned that you want to do engineering in Jawaharlal Nehru technological university, you can get into that as your rank is pretty good. However, you need to remember and have to do certain things which are as follows.

Look every year most of the colleges have three to four round of counseling, now you have to see the number of applicants this college call for the first round of counseling. From there you can get an idea of your chances into that university. This you can check on college official website. Thus it will help you to know whether you can a choice of your branch or not.

Now besides this, as I said don't settle for now and keep your option open. So you can check the following link for some more good colleges which accept TS EAMCET score. My college has the large green campus that feels refreshing and peaceful. The classrooms are spacious and the labs are well organized with necessary equipments. The library stocked with useful textbooks and journals. Hostel life is comfortable.

Peaceful campus with supportive and caring faculty.

My college offers a pleasant and calm learning environment surrounded by greenary and hills. The classrooms are neat and labs are equipped. The library provides good academic resources.the hostels are decent with all basic amenities.

My college has a spacious campus in a beautiful hilly area but the infrastructure doesn’t meet expectations. Many classrooms and labs need better maintenance. Overall, the facilities exist but are poorly managed.
