Degree-wise Admission Process
B.A.: The college offers various B.A. programs with different subject combinations. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination. The college offers specializations in subjects like History, Economics, English, Kannada, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, and Journalism.
B.Sc.: For B.Sc. programs, candidates who have completed 10+2 with Science subjects are eligible to apply. The college offers combinations such as Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics, Physics-Mathematics-Computer Science, Chemistry-Botany-Zoology, Biochemistry-Microbiology-Biotechnology, and Botany-Chemistry-Biotechnology.
B.Com and BBA: Entry in B. Com and BBA is by the marks achieved at 10+2 examinations. Students are from any science, commerce or art stream to take admission.
BCA: In BCA programme, any student who completes his 10+2 by getting mathematics in their subject as an optional paper, can appear in the exams for the further entry.
M.Com, M.A. and M. Sc.: This course requires passing of relevant graduate degree like that of M.Com or M.A in Economics and English and M. Sc. Chemistry. The marks secured during the qualifying exam will be generally taken as eligibility for admission.
MSW: Master of Social Work graduates coming from any undergraduate stream are entitled to apply to this course, though academic history and related experience in social work etc., might carry weightage to get admitted for this course.
I studied B.com in this college and they provided the best quality teaching for students, they gave importance for both education and curriculum activities to students and it helps me to gain knowledge and get ready to a job.
I studied l B.Sc. PCM in this college. The quality of teaching is so good. Our teachers are very supportive to each and every student. They are always ready to explain the concepts many times until we get it. Curriculums are updated in departments notice board.
I'm studying Bcom in Jss college and the quality of teaching is good in this college. Bcom helps us for the accounts related job. All the faculty was good in explanation of the subject which helps us to understand easily.
