CET, a pioneer institution in engineering, was founded in the year 2004 at Shamirpet, Hyderabad, Telangana. This affiliated college located in a 40 acres spread has been striving hard to improve in the field of technical education. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has hence approved the technical institute, which means it promises to uphold high standards in education. The institute provides a number of engineering programmes, at undergraduate, diploma level that changes with the development of the technology sector.

The college has established several facilities that the institution says will improve the learning process of the students. As one of the core academic facilities of JCET, the school boasts a collection of over 30, 000 books, periodicals, research journals and magazines. MOE offers a total of five courses from JCET across two degree levels as shown below affording students broad choices of fields of study. B.Tech programme is offered in three specialties – Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering – each coming as a full-time programme. Additionally, JCET offers two diploma programmes: Electronics and Communication Engineering (II Shift) and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (II Shift) Diploma. These programs are intended to provide students with curriculum contents supported by theories with practical experiences to enable them perform well in their various careers.
