Hey student,
Yes! You can expect a call from nmims as a score of around 212 is 95% according to the trends of the recent NMAT exams. 90% is a percentage in which you can generally get a call from NMIMS Bangalore and NMIMS Hyderabad and also from ximb.
All the best student,
Hope this helps you
The exam name is NMAT exam which is mainly conduct for getting admission in the top B-schools like NMIMS colleges , every year this exam conducted in the month of December and this exam is different from the other B-school exams , as it is a adaptive test , and also we can select the date of exam as wish but in the given range only like this year the range given was 14 dec 2021 to 27 th December 2021 , see in this it completely depends on the student that if he or she has prepared thoroughly , revised properly , given all the test series , and are now confident to give the exam then you should go for the early date , or if not then go for the last date , so everything is your choice .
Hope it helps ,
Thanks
Hello,
First of all congrats for getting 221 in NMAT. I think with proper preparation and strategy you can get admission into NMIMS.
Look case discussion is little bit different from normal group discussion. In case discussion you will be given a piece of paper having problem statement and you need to find the solutions.
Practice different sets having problem and try to think the solution. In this way you can practice .
Also there are few tips which are try to give closing statement at the end and make sure jury notice you.Be gentle with disagreement and speak when the other's person statement is completed.
Now come to PI part. You should have enough points to justify what you had written in SOP. Highlights your strength and prepare some basic questions like why you want to do mba and all these type of questions. If you have a work experience then have a thorough knowledge of your domain. It will help you a lot.
All the best. Hope it helps!
Dear Aspirant
According to the report released by NMIMS Mumbai on the 2021 placements , the highest package was Rs.34.7 LPA .
The average CTC package offered was Rs.18 LPA.
The top recruiters this year were Accenture, Adidas, Asian Paints , Max Life Insurance , Amazon and so on to name a few. An estimate of 150 and above companies visited.
Overall if we see this year and even last year's placement drive , we can conclude that both years have had successful placement drives.
Hope this helps
Thank you .
Hey aspirant
1. Give mock tests and thoroughly analyse them to determine your strengths and weaknesses.
2. Finish the syllabus by the end of December and begin revising and giving mock exams in January.
3. Time is of the essence when it comes to answering Data Interpretation questions. Try to improve your calculation speed by practising vedic math and other speed math techniques.
4. In addition to reading verbal ability material, read newspapers on a daily basis to improve your grammar and vocabulary. This will help you improve your score in the English Language Proficiency section.
5. Solving previous year question papers is important because candidates can solve the majority of the questions using certain tricks and shortcuts.
6. Students can also solve crossword puzzles, Sudoku puzzles, and riddles.
This will aid in the preparation of the quantitative and verbal sections.
It is always best to be confident and positive when preparing for NPAT.
Best wishes!!!
Hey aspirant,
As a private university, There have been no reservations based on caste, financial background, or management quotas at NMIMS. It is a private university run by a trust, and all decisions to advance the university's brand value would be made by the trust's members.
Hope this helps. All the best.
Hey aspirant
I'd say not very, but it all depends on one's personal calibre, ability to work hard to get into college, and long-term goals. NMIMS uses a three-step selection process to select the best candidates from a pool of applicants: a written exam, followed by a CDPI.
The NMAT or a written exam
GMAC administers the NMAT, a national-level Management Aptitude entrance exam. Based on their scores, applicants may be contacted for further consideration at one of the five campuses. As such, NMAT is a very basic level exam that requires little preparation and only proper strategy to score well. Because the cut off for Mumbai is so high, it is actually difficult to get into NMIMS Mumbai
Granted, the NMAT exam is easy to crack but definitely needs some work after you get a call for CDPI. So to sum up, NMIMS is not a far fetched dream but it is not very easy either.
All the best.
Hi Aspirant,
Yes, it does not matter whether you are fresher or experienced, all you have to do is to secure good marks in the entrance exam.
Here are the things they consider while shortlisting the students
NMAT score: 70% weightage
CD and PI scores: 15% weightage
Work experience: 5% weightage
Gender Diversity: 5% weightage
Academics: 5% weightage
