Kalam Institute of Technology Polytechnic, Berhampur (KITP) is a reputed institution committed to higher education since 2008. Set up in the Govinda Vihar Govindapur Berhampur Orissa this affiliated college has been training the future engineers for more than ten years now. It has four diploma courses, in different fields of engineering, to meet the difference interests of learners. The faculty of the institute comprises 54 committed professionals who always provide a favourable environment to learners.

KITP has four disciplines that provide only full-time diplomas, and all these programmes take three years to complete. These programmes are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
